Chris Schulte believes we deserve better from our government.
As a psychology instructor, Chris Schulte believes every one of us has the inherent potential for greatness—but harsh individualism and narcissism have replaced and distorted our sense of community and striving for the greater good. But when so many of us are hurting from an economy that has left us behind and a government that doesn’t see each of us as human beings, it’s no wonder that our society has fallen off track.
America has always had the potential for greatness, but we will only be great when our government meets our basic needs and lets each of us strive to fulfill our potential. Bluntly, North Carolinians are getting a raw deal from our government. We deserve a better deal. To do that, we need leaders in Washington who will put North Carolinians first and fight for progress and the betterment of all our lives. Positive change is always an uphill battle, but we each have a responsibility to stand and fight—and Chris Schulte isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and put in the work for all of us.
Chris will work to fix the broken status quo in DC.
Eastern North Carolina deserves a member of Congress who will fight to better people’s lives, not to preserve a broken status quo. We deserve representatives who believe we deserve a better deal and who will be in our corner every single day. In Washington, Chris will fight for access to affordable health care, high-quality public education, and good paying jobs that offer hardworking North Carolinians dignity and the chance to get ahead rather than simply survive.
We can’t make change in Washington unless we all pitch in.
It’s the unfortunate reality that running for office takes money, and Chris is relying on your support so that we can elect a leader who will fight for us in Washington. Your early support helps our campaign pay staff, get our message out to voters, and build a strong foundation to compete next year—so can we count on you to chip in and become a founding donor of Chris’ campaign?
